En.chant 1: to influence by or as if by charms and incantation 2: to attract and move deeply: rouse to ecstatic admiration [Merriam-Webster]
Novels, short stories, memoirs, poems, essays etc. should all enchant their readers. A writer must cast a spell of images to draw the reader into the unraveling tale. The effect causes the reader to escape into a different world where he or she will go on adventures and share emotions with the characters.
How does a writer weave such magic?
In Enchanted Literature, I discuss writing techniques and compose book reviews to further my own writing education and yours. If you disagree, agree or have other information on writing you wish to share, please leave a comment. Together, we can learn to create enchanting literature.
